First things first: what kind of event is it?
A product launch needs space, height and freedom to set up; a gala dinner wants a venue that makes a statement on its own; a convention needs plenary halls, technology and easy transport. Starting from the format helps narrow the choice straight away. This is an indicative selection: we’re not affiliated with any of the venues, so check availability, capacity and terms directly with them.
Industrial spaces and studios
Former factories and photo studios are the classic choice for launches, brand activations, exhibitions and parties: large empty spaces you can set up however you like.
| Venues | Area | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Superstudio Più | Tortona (via Tortona 27) | A complex of modular spaces in the design district, a key Fuorisalone venue |
| Superstudio Maxi | Famagosta (via Moncucco 35) | Large spaces with high ceilings, suited to large-scale events |
| Superstudio Village | Bovisa | The group’s tallest spaces, up to 14 metres, for spectacular set-ups |
| East End Studios | Forlanini (via Mecenate) | A former industrial site used for events, fashion shows and productions |
| BASE Milano | Tortona | A former industrial site converted into a cultural centre with event spaces |
| Fabbrica del Vapore | Monumentale – Paolo Sarpi | A former factory owned by the City of Milan, dedicated to exhibitions, culture and events |
Palazzos, villas and historic venues
For galas, award ceremonies, corporate dinners and city weddings, a historic building provides the atmosphere without the need for elaborate set-ups.
| Venues | Area | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Palazzo delle Stelline | Corso Magenta | A conference centre in a historic palazzo with a cloister, near The Last Supper |
| Villa Necchi Campiglio | Palestro – Porta Venezia | A 1930s FAI villa with garden and swimming pool, for exclusive events |
| Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia | Sant’Ambrogio | Events among the collections and in the cloisters of a former monastery |
| Triennale Milano | Parco Sempione | The design museum, with spaces for presentations and events |
Conferences and large conventions
For hundreds or thousands of attendees you need plenary halls, built-in technology and services.
| Venues | Area | Why choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Allianz MiCo | Portello – CityLife | One of Europe’s largest convention centres, connected to the metro |
| Fiera Milano Rho | Rho (M1 Rho Fiera) | The exhibition centre, for large events, trade shows and conventions |
Outside Milan: villas, lakes and Brianza
For weddings and events surrounded by greenery, many couples and companies choose the villas of Brianza or the lakes. We cover these areas too: you’ll find the details on our Monza and Brianza, Lake Como, Bergamo, Varese and Brescia pages.
Questions to ask the venue
Before confirming, ask:
| Topic | What to ask |
|---|---|
| Timings | When can you set up and take down? The most sought-after venues often allow only narrow windows. |
| Access | Is there a loading and unloading entrance? Are lifts and goods lifts the right size? |
| Power | Are there sockets near where the stations, bar and music will go? |
| Connection | Is there reliable Wi-Fi for guests? It’s needed to share photos and videos in real time. |
| Rules | Historic venues often don’t allow anything to be fixed to walls and floors: best to know beforehand. |
| Suppliers | Does the venue only work with approved suppliers, or can you bring your own? |
Where to put the photo booth and activities
Position matters as much as the attraction. A station works best near the bar or the dance floor, visible to passers-by but out of the service corridors. Our photo stations have their own lighting, so they work even in dark rooms or outdoors in the evening; the only thing to plan for is clear space in front for group photos. When we quote, we’ll tell you the footprint and requirements of the solution you choose, from the Premium Photo Booth to the GlamBot and the Video Booth 360.
Already chosen your venue? Tell us about the space, date and number of guests: we’ll tell you which experience works best in that setting.
